Troubleshoot issues with your integrations.

Google Analytics 4

Events Not Appearing in GA4

1. Wait 24-48 hours: GA4 reports can be delayed

2. Use DebugView: GA4 > Admin > DebugView shows real-time events

3. Check Measurement ID: Verify it starts with G-

4. Enable the integration: Settings > Integrations > GA4 > Enable

Duplicate Events

If you see events twice:

1. Check if you have both ListenLayer GA4 and direct GA4 tracking

2. Disable one or filter duplicates in ListenLayer settings

Missing Parameters

If event parameters are missing:

1. Go to GA4 > Admin > Custom Definitions

2. Register your custom parameters

3. Wait 24 hours for them to appear

Google Tag Manager

Data Layer Events Not Firing

1. Enable GTM Preview mode

2. Trigger an event on your site

3. Check if listenlayer_* events appear

4. Verify triggers match the event names exactly

Variables Not Populated

1. Create Data Layer Variables for each property

2. Use the exact path: listenlayer.form_name

3. Test in Preview mode

HubSpot

Contacts Not Syncing

1. Verify the integration is authorized

2. Check that email is being captured in forms

3. Review sync logs: Settings > Integrations > HubSpot > Logs

4. Ensure HubSpot API limits aren't exceeded

Events Not on Timeline

1. Confirm the event type is enabled in integration settings

2. Check that the contact exists in HubSpot

3. Wait a few minutes for sync

4. Verify you're looking at the right contact
