Privacy Controls

Tracking Modes

Based on consent, ListenLayer operates in different modes:

Mode	Behavior
Identified (id)	Full tracking with persistent identity
Anonymous (anon)	Session-only tracking, no persistence
Do Not Track (dnt)	Minimal data collection

Data Retention

Configure how long data is retained:

• Event Data - Raw event retention period

• Session Data - Session aggregation window

• Identity Data - How long identity associations persist

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

ListenLayer automatically detects and respects the GPC browser signal when enabled.
